The Sariska Palace

a French architect in 1892, was built under the patronage of Maharaja Jai
Singh of Alwar to commemorate the visit of Queen Victoris's son, the Duke
of Connaught.
Its glorious past as the Royal Hunting Lodge lends itself perfectly to

The Palace itself, fully restored, is an interesting melange of old world
hospitality and modern comfort. Surrounded by rich and colourful traditions,

sights, sounds and smells. The ruins of many ancient cities that lie close
by make interesting excursions. remains of old monuments, historic temples,
Buddhist and jain Sculptures stand as reminders to Rajasthan's checkered
